Otto Frank recieved Anne's Diary after he came back from concentration camp. Miep Gies, a family friend saved Anne's diary and gave it to Otto when she found out that Anne had died,and would not be coming home. As Anne's father read he diary, he found out that he knew less and less about his daughter. The diary revealed the true thoughts and secrets of Anne. Otto was so inspired and touched that he decided to publish the diary. Since then it touched the hearts of the world.
